Fusible versions provide a superior level of short circuit protection along with a high degree of selectivity in sizing and over-current protection for a wide variety of electrical loads.

When compared to enclosed circuit breakers, on average, safety switches have a lower installed cost. And, when enclosed control is required, chances are good that safety switches are also needed.
